The Walker

In Between

As most of you know we bought a new house and are currently in the middle of leaving the old house and getting into the new house.  We're hoping to get some pics of the new house up soon.  We're staying at Grammy and Grandpa's house until our new house closes.  While we were packing up our old house Ari decided she wanted to help.  Mommy had packed up a big plastic storage bin of Ari's clothes but hadn't put the lid on yet.  She made a b-line for the bin and promptly removed all the contents.

On Mother's day we went to visit Great Grammy and got this picture of all the Moms

Ari loves to move her feet out of restraining devices, shopping carts, highchairs, anything.  Here she is in her highchair.

Derek and Reese celebrated their birthday's at Chuck E. Cheese last week.  Ari enjoyed her first experience at Chuck's.  She wasn't too keen on going down the slide and held on for as long as she possibly could before sliding down and realizing it wasn't too bad after all.

Here she is with Chuck.

Catching Up

We went South for Easter weekend and had a great time seeing all the family and going to the tulip festival.

They had a lot of giant wooden clogs at the tulip festival and Ari and Jana had fun with them.

Some old trains were on display as well. Ranch man Grandpa likes checking out all the tractors.

Strolling, through the tulips, through the tulips, through the tulips, oh won't you come a strolling with us.

Grandma, Aunt L, and Daddy took Kara, Jana, and Ari on a Cow train tour through the fields.

At the end of the day we all sat down and had an incredible Easter dinner.

Grandma bought the girls matching outfits for Easter and we tried to get a picture of all the girls. You can see we weren't very successful.

Now that the weather is getting nicer, we like to take walks down to the park by our house. Ari loves to swing, she gets pretty mad at us when we take her out to go home.

We also tried out the slide. Not as much fun as the swing, but it'll get the job done.

And the clincher, the cheesy grin after creating a little mess.

1 YEAR!!!

Ari is a year old!  We had a great party that Grammy and Grandpa let us have at their house, and Grandma and Grandpa came up for a quick visit to celebrate with us.  We all had a great time.

Ari opening some gifts early. Wearing a gift from Uncle S and Aunt M, a shirt that says Kiss Me I'm Irish.
