Ari is learning all kinds of new sounds to make with her mouth, I don't know where she could hear or learn all these sounds(Daddy). The other day she was going crazy with the raspberries.




We think Ari is getting a tooth, that explains the massive amount of drool that has been dripping off her chin lately. The weird thing is is that it is not one of her front teeth. It looks like it is one of her molars. We got some teething rings but she hasn't quite figured out what they are for yet. In the picture Daddy is holding it hoping she will feel the cool relief of refrigerated teething ring.

We also went to the lake to celebrate Mommy's birthday a little early and Ari spent some time relaxing in a tube.

Friends & Family

We had a wonderful time in Boston, see below, but the best part was seeing all of our east coast friends and family. Unfortunately we didn't have our camera out as much as we'd like, but we did manage to get a few good pics:

More Boston

While back east, we figured we'd do some multi-tasking, so we took Ari to visit Harvard. It's never too soon to start thinking about college, right?

Our friends, Whit and Conrad, are in the picture on the steps of one of the many libraries on the campus.



We also made a day trip down to Cape Cod. Even though it poured down rain every day we were in Boston, it was a beautiful day at the beach. Ari took a nap with Grammy while everyone else went swimming. Didn't turn out so well for daddy, he got stung by a jellyfish, then heroically carried mommy out of the water so she didn't get stung too.



We also spent some time in the north end of Boston, which is the italian district. They have a festival every weekend in the summer to celebrate a saint.

The Green Jacket

Our family has a tradition, and for those of you who know us, it's not surprising it's a competition. It began as a small family gathering 31 years ago and now it's two days of golf and parties. The tradition includes a friendly, family competition between golfers in the family, namely my dad, uncles, aunt, and cousins. This year the big winner is......Patrick! Now, this might not seem like a big deal, but it is. The winner gets the coveted OBO trophy, green jacket, and their name on the plaque that commemorates each year's winner. Not to mention the trophy presentation by Grandmum.

Freedom Trail

On the first full day we were in Boston, we walked the first part of the Freedom Trail, a path through landmarks in downtown Boston that have historical significance to the American Revolution. It was really fun, despite the rain, and Ari, Daddy and I learned a lot along the way.
