Freedom Trail

On the first full day we were in Boston, we walked the first part of the Freedom Trail, a path through landmarks in downtown Boston that have historical significance to the American Revolution. It was really fun, despite the rain, and Ari, Daddy and I learned a lot along the way.

Daddy and Ari at the Old State house

Old South Meetinghouse -'no taxation without representation' where the colonists met on their way to dump out the tea in the harbor

Grammy, Daddy and Ari at the Kings Chapel

Boston Common, the beginning of the Freedom Trail

Daddy and Ari in the really old Granary Cemetery....where Mother Goose (she was a real person), John Hancock, , and Ben Franklin's parents are buried.

Apparently she's not a history buff

Now I can show the crew where I walked on my trip (sans camera, of course). Sounds like it was fun.
