What Does It Mean?

Sarah discovered a great recipe for some fun cupcakes. Double rainbow cupcakes. We've made a couple batches and they are delicious.

Bauman Farms

For those of you in Oregon, I'm sure you're familiar with Bauman Farms, for the millions.....thousands.......hundreds.......ok the handful of other readers that don't live in Oregon, Bauman Farms is a huge pumpkin patch. While we were in Oregon we got to spend a couple hours having fun at the pumpkin patch.

Apple cider donut meet Q. Q wins.

I just like the exact same look on the faces.

Scared out of mind

OK, this is fun now

Go Beavs

Thanks Aunt Boo and Uncle Brian for the awesome tickets! Sarah and Ari got to go to their first Oregon State football game and both had a great time even though the Beavs lost to BYU. The band had Ari's attention more than the game did, but she loved all the cool souvenirs that Grandpa got for her.

Pretty sure she's getting ready for the OSU chant, that or the eye black stickers are making her cheeks feel funny.

Ari's School Activities

Ari had a school field trip to the pumpkin patch where they learned about bees, got to run through a hay maze, and picked their very own pumpkin. At the end of the trip they got to meet Penelope the giant talking pumpkin.

Around Halloween Ari's school puts on a Harvest Festival, they move all the chairs out of the Sanctuary and turn it into a little carnival. Among other things, there was an obstacle course, face painting, and make your own Mr. Potato Head. Ari and her buddy Rafe had a great time playing games and winning prizes.

Late Shamrock Pics

The annual Shamrock Open was held in August and we had to throw a couple pics of the fantastic event on the blog. Including one of the cutest putting contest helpers around.

First Pumpkin Patch Visit

Auntie Moe came out to visit at the beginning of October and what better way to spend some time than at the pumpkin patch? We enjoyed some pumpkins donuts, bouncy castles and fresh apples.

First Day of Preschool

Ari started preschool this year and in traditional proud parent fashion we forced her to take approximately 8,000 pictures on her first day. She loves school and wishes she could go more often. We often find ourselves playing school at home.
