S had her baby shower last weekend. Our house is jam packed with onesies, bouncers, swings, diaper bags, and strollers. Aunt L and Uncle J were nice enough to lend us some hand me downs from our nieces younger days. Grandma and Grandpa South came up for the festivities as well as Aunt L, Kara, and Aunt Boo. S had a blast and loved all of the cool gear. As you may recall from a previous post we had received numerous outfits for East Coast Teams. Thanks to the shower, we know have a few more West Coast representations. Not only did we get a very cool Oregon State outfit, but we got some Willamette Bearcat clothes from Grandma and Grandpa South.
Decor at the shower included an equal number of blue and pink balloons. After the shower the balloons ended up at our house. By the end of the evening there were six pink balloons and one blue balloon still hanging up on the ceiling. We don't know what we're having, so we're looking for all kinds of signs and hints to tell us if the baby is a boy or a girl. The next morning when I woke up the only balloons that remained high on the ceiling were one pink balloon and one blue balloon. Those two balloons managed to hang tough for another day and then......
The balloon voodoo says it's a girl.
