Goofy
Grandma and Grandpa brought up a cute Halloween costume of a beloved Disney character. Ari was a little sleepy when we dressed her up for a test run, but we did get a few pics. Hopefully Ari will get comfy with Goofy and we'll be able to swap outfits for each stop on Halloween between Goofy and Grammy's gift of a white kitty cat.

Grandma and Grandpa Visit
Grandma and Grandpa made the ling trek north for a weekend visit, and Ari was super excited the whole weekend. She loved the extra attention and showing off some of the new things she has learned since the last time she saw G and G. She got so excited she didn't want to sleep and miss out on any of the visit.
G and G, Daddy, and Ari at Aunt C's cross country meet.

Ari loved playing with Grandma's hair while she was stretched out on the love seat.

She also loved sitting on Grandpa's lap.

Here's a close up look at Ari's smile while she was paying with Grandma's hair.

WARNING: Baby tongue and half eaten food ahead! Ari has also started doing this gag wretch thing when we eat rice cereal. It's pretty funny from an outside perspective, but I don't think she enjoys it too much. We got a couple pictures of her when Grandma and Grandpa came to visit. It's like she wants us to see what she is eating.

Pumpkin Patch
When Grandma and Grandpa came to visit we took Ari to the pumpkin patch/apple orchard. We started to walk through the orchard to pick some apples and the bumps in the stroller immediately put Ari to sleep. The rest of us picked some apples and Mommy made some delicious apple crisp for desert that night. The pumpkin patch/orchard also had a little shop with some pumpkin donuts, other food stuffs, and lots of trinkets. We managed to walk out of there with a squeezy sheep, some pear butter, and some of those delicious pumpkin donuts.

OSU Head to Toe
Aunt M and Uncle S outfitted Ari with some awesome Oregon State gear that Ari modeled like a pro.
She loved the jester looking hat, she chewed on the ends and didn't pull it off immediately.

Mommy thought that Daddy's matching skills were not good in choosing the outfit below. Light blue and Orange? Those don't match?

Thanks Aunt M and Uncle S!

fun new toys
Ari found some fun new toys this week. They include the ShopKo ad from the newspaper.

some tissue paper. There's a whole toy box on the floor around her and all she wants to do it play with the tissue paper.

and the mirror. She loves mirrors. In fact, this one is for her room but we haven't got around to hanging it up for her yet. My photography skills really stink, but the point of the pictures was to the funny faces she was making.
